This means that the filter is clogged and that large dust particles in contact with the electric field cause a short circuit. Just like mosquitoes that pass near electric traps, this causes a clicking sound. There is nothing dangerous, but you must go through the "maintenance" phase of your air purifier by cleaning the HPP filter according to the user manual. Also remember to check that the pre-filter and carbon filter are recent.
If your air purifier filter contains activated carbon, then it is of plant origin. It will produce a slight odor that will fade over time. This odor is not necessarily unpleasant and is completely normal.
Once the filter has been changed, you need to tell the air purifier that it has a new filter and reset its countdown to zero. The easiest way to do this is to refer to the user manual. In most cases, you need to press the "filter" button or a button near the "filter" light for about ten seconds.
On some older Blueair purifiers, there is a hidden button under the control panel. You can tell because it has a slight bump on it, which you can also feel when you touch it. Blueair Pro purifiers also have a hidden button that is located below the "Filter" indicator. It must be pressed for 3 seconds.
If your humidifier is scaled, we simply recommend using white vinegar and water. Dilute the vinegar in 50% to 60% water, leave for 10 to 20 minutes and rinse. Be careful not to rinse with too much water, as this could introduce water into the electronic part (which would damage your device). You can also use specialized products, such as Cleaner&Descaler from Stadler Form.
With an ultrasonic humidifier, the steam is diffused into the room by means of a small fan whose air inlet is, in most cases, located under the device. It is therefore necessary to check that nothing is blocking this air inlet. For example, avoid placing the device on a carpet, rug or cloth. In addition, be sure to check the temperature of the room: if it is too cold, the steam from your humidifier will fall around the device. It is therefore necessary to move it closer to a heat source or place it a little higher. Finally, we advise you to lower the power of the steam.
The air inlet, usually located under the appliance, is blocked by dust or the appliance is placed on a carpet or rug. Our advice: place the appliance on a flat, smooth surface.
This is a model w ithout a Peltier compressor. A Peltier dehumidifier consumes little but is of low power. Its maximum dehumidification is 750mL/day with a humidity of 90% and a temperature of 28/30°C. If the room temperature is lower than 20°C, the device loses capacity. It is suitable for small spaces and small humidity problems. It will wonderfully replace Rubson type absorption cartridges.
You have 3 methods to evacuate the condensates (the recovered water):
- Empty the tank once full (ORAIN stops automatically).
- Continuous drainage: the included drainage pipe allows you to connect ORAIN to a waste water drain on the ground. The short pipe must follow a slope so that the water flows by gravity.
- Lifting pump (not included): install this accessory in the tank to raise the water to a certain level or to evacuate it over a longer distance.
- Make sure the unit is not placed against a wall or that a piece of furniture is not blocking the air inlet of the dehumidifier. If so, move it.
- The desired humidity level is not set low enough: switch to "Continuous" mode instead of "Auto".
- The room temperature is below 15°C: this is the limit at which most compressor dehumidifiers are ineffective.
A fan does not have the same function as an air conditioner. It does not lower the temperature of your room. The feeling of freshness provided by the fan comes from the air blowing on the micro-droplets of water due to perspiration, which we have on the skin. By evaporating, these micro-droplets cool us down.
Yes, our table fans consume very little energy. There will of course be an impact on the autonomy of your laptop, but it remains acceptable.
If your product works with a remote control or touch buttons, this is probably not possible. On the other hand, for fans with mechanical buttons or dimmers, it is normally possible. Before plugging it into a timer or a connected socket, you can do a simple test: turn on your fan, unplug it for 30 seconds and see if it starts again by plugging it back in.
Additional heaters are equipped with several safety features, including an anti-overheating system. So, if your appliance falls, it will continue to ventilate for a few moments to cool down and then turn off. If it does not restart, unplug it for a few minutes and plug it back in while standing upright on its base.
This depends on the design of the heater. A heater with touch buttons will probably not be able to work with a controlled socket because it will probably not be equipped with a memory to restart the heater in its initial position. On the other hand, a heater with mechanical buttons should be able to be controlled. This is the case for ANNA, ANNA Little and YRON. However, make sure to check the power of your socket. A heater consumes between 1200 W and 2500 W. So make sure that your socket supports at least 2000 W for these heaters.
It is not recommended to shake your heater. Your heater is equipped with several safety features, including an anti-tip system. Heaters equipped with this system have a metal ball that is movable. This prevents the heater from starting if it is not in a vertical and flat position. The noise therefore comes from this ball.
If no indicator lights are lit on the device, it is likely that the power cable and/or the power adapter are not properly inserted, or that they no longer work. If the problem persists, please contact our after-sales service.
You probably put a little too much water. You should not exceed the maximum level indicated on the appliance, inside the tank. Remove a little water and everything should work.
Essential oils are greasy by nature and can cause the diffuser to become clogged over time. You can clean it with dishwashing liquid or white vinegar, taking care not to introduce water:
- in the fan's air inlet located under or behind the device,
- in the fan's air outlet (the small slot on the side of the tank, often slightly protected).
The choice of essential oil has an influence on its olfactory perception, in particular on the intensity of the fragrance. Favor 100% natural and highly concentrated essential oils, which are of better quality. Also make sure to choose a labeled oil. The label is indicated on the bottle and allows you to know exactly the composition of the oil.
An essential oil must be stored away from light, heat and humidity, as well as in an opaque and airtight bottle. It is therefore necessary to avoid storing them in the bathroom, near a radiator, on a window ledge: anywhere where there are temperature variations.
The shelf life can vary from 6 months to 15 years, it depends on its ingredients. Generally, a DLUO - best before date - is indicated on the bottle.
No, the purification mode of an air washer is natural, it is based on rotating discs in the air that catch dust from the air. The filtration is less fine than HEPA purifiers but it offers many advantages, such as not having to buy a filter again.
Regular cleaning is required depending on the model. In all cases, you must disassemble the elements where water flows, the discs, and immerse them in a solution of water and white vinegar. We recommend mixing white vinegar with 50 to 60% water. Leave it to act for at least 10 to 20 minutes and rinse with clean water. The discs can also, depending on the appliance, be put in the dishwasher.
Both devices work by evaporation. The air washer works with washable discs, while the evaporator works with filters (also called cartridges) that must be replaced regularly. The difference is that the air washer does not need consumables and its filtration quality is better.
The color change is due to the components of the tap water or air. The filters change color more quickly depending on the water quality. This is not very aesthetic, but as long as it is not mold, it is harmless. On the other hand, filters affected by mold should be thrown away and the device should be cleaned thoroughly. If you have recently changed the filters, you can rinse them, turn them over and continue using them. If you have been using the filters for more than 2 months, replace them with new ones. Please note that the color of the filters has no influence on the normal operation of the humidifier.
The pre-filter is a first level of filtration for large particles. It captures animal hair, hair and large dust particles.
In the case of a humidifier filter, depending on your city's recycling policy, you will either have to throw it away with household waste or recycle it. In the case of an air purifier, the filter stops pollutants present in the air. Therefore, you must take certain precautions when changing the filter, seal it well in an airtight bag and throw it away with household waste.
If the WIFI button LED is permanently lit, your device is connected to your WIFI network and can be controlled remotely.
At the beginning of the procedure, check that your device is properly connected and turned on, that the WIFI LED is flashing quickly. Also check that your smartphone is properly connected to your WIFI network and that Bluetooth is activated. Note that the application only works with a 2.4 GHz network and not 5 GHz.
You need to reset your device. If you have a:
- LENDOU purifier: press the WIFI button for several seconds
- ROGER or ROGER Little purifier: press the WIFI button for several seconds
- ISAC heater: press the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds
- ROHAN dehumidifier: press the "humidity level adjustment" button for 5 seconds (shown as "G" in the user manual).
Place your hygrometer in the room where you want to measure the humidity level. Please observe the following guidelines:
- Air must be able to circulate freely around the hygrometer,
- Do not place the device where the humidity level of the outside air may be measured, for example, in the immediate vicinity of a window or door,
- Keep the hygrometer away from direct sunlight, as this may cause an incorrect humidity level and damage the screen.
All hygrometers have a margin of error of +/- 5%. To compare two displays, the measurement must be carried out under the same conditions (e.g. same temperature) and in the same location.
