The present General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the contractual relations between WAF-direct and its customer, both parties accepting them without any reserve. These General Terms and Conditions of Sale shall prevail over any other condition appearing in any other document, except in the case of prior, express and written derogation.


The products sold by are products for domestic and non-professional use. Please note that some illustrations of products are taken in a situation and may include elements that are not part of the product. All products offered by to its customers are in principle available from our stocks or from the manufacturer. In the event of proven non-availability of the ordered product, or in the event of non-acceptance by the customer of the delivery period imposed by this non-availability, will propose a replacement product to its customer who will be free to accept or refuse it.


The prices indicated for each of the products sold by are in euros, including eco-participation (cf. below), including VAT at 20% and excluding delivery costs, unless otherwise stated.

The products are sold without taxes if the country of delivery is located outside the European Economic Area or in the Overseas Territories. In this case, the customer may have to pay customs duties and any local taxes when the package enters the territory.


Since 15 November 2006, regulations relating to Déchets des Équipements Électriques et Électroniques (DEEE) have been established in France, within the framework of a European Directive. State-approved eco-organisations are responsible for organising the treatment and recycling of your old appliances.

What are the implications for the consumer ?

The creation of an eco-participation fee on all new appliances sold in France from 15 November 2006. The free return of your old appliance (one appliance returned for one equivalent appliance purchased) to our headquarters in Nanterre.

The environmental tax in detail

The amount depends on each appliance. It varies from a few cents to 23€ and is indicated on your invoice. This tax is collected by a State-approved eco-organisation which will finance the companies and local authorities in charge of logistics, treatment and recycling of DEEE. You can consult the list of eco-taxes on the Ecologic website.


Payment by credit card

Orders can be paid for online by debit or credit card using one of the following symbols: CB, VISA, Eurocard, Mastercard, American Express. e-Transactions centralizes the payment by card in partnership with the Crédit Agricole up to 5.000 euros. Beyond that, payment will be made by bank transfer.

Bank transfer

We also accept bank transfers. We accept money orders or administrative transfers for schools, nurseries and administrations. You can also pay by telephone via our customer service on + 33(0)9 72 23 22 32.

Payment in several instalments

Our partner Alma is a payment solution in several instalments which offers you to pay all your purchases between 300€ and 6000€ in 3 or 4 instalments (without fees) with your credit card.

  • 3 times without fees from 300€ onwards
  • 4 times without fees from 1000€ onwards

Maximum payment limit 6000€.

Conditions : The service of Payment in several instalments is reserved for natural persons aged eighteen (18) and over, and for any person who is not in a state of legal incapacity, guardianship, curatorship, residing in France (Metropolitan and DOM) and holder of a CB, Visa or Mastercard bank card, issued in their name by a French establishment, with a validity date greater than the last due date. Cards with systematic authorization such as Electron or Maestro, prepaid cards, Indigo cards and American Express are not accepted.
Meeting these eligibility requirements does not mean that you will be granted the payment facility. Alma reserves the right to accept or refuse any request for payment in installments, after reviewing the file.

Delivery is made to the address indicated by the customer, who undertakes to receive the product ordered. Deliveries are always made to the ground floor in front of the home. The delivery will be made within the indicative timeframe agreed with the customer after receipt of the authorisations from the payment organisations. The delivery times indicated represent the average delivery time. air&me will deliver to the customer within a maximum of 30 days. After this period, the customer can obtain a full refund of his order if the delivery has not been made. In the event of a dispute over receipt, the customer must immediately express his reserves on the delivery note and formulate a motivated protest to the carrier within three days of delivery, by registered letter, in the event of damage noted on the equipment during delivery. The customer must also send all these elements to WAF-direct.


Since June 13, 2014, the date of adaptation of the Hamon law, all products sold are warrantied for two years, parts and labour, not including return to the after-sales service, excluding consumables. Some products may benefit from an additional manufacturer's warranty.

Nature of the warranty

The purpose of the present contract is to ensure the proper functioning of the appliances that have suffered an internal breakdown (electrical, electronic, mechanical). This warranty covers: the replacement of defective parts; the related labour. To benefit from the warranty, the appliances must be taken to the after-sales service designated by the seller after a request via our Contact page, selecting "After-sales service - Problem of use".

The warranty does not cover :

  • Damage, breakdowns, failures or defects due to external causes (shock, drop, lightning, oxidation, exposure to heat),
  • Breakdowns relating to accessories,
  • Breakdowns resulting from modification of the construction and original characteristics of the appliance,
  • Breakdowns affecting parts that do not conform to those recommended by the manufacturer,
  • Damage to consumable parts (filters, aromatherapy cartridge, etc.),
  • The costs of commissioning, adjustments, cleaning and tests not resulting from a warrantied damage,
  • Non-compliance with the manufacturer's instructions and use for professional or commercial purposes,
  • Repairs and damage suffered by the appliance after a repair carried out by anyone other than a repairer approved by the seller,
  • The costs of estimates followed or not by repairs, the costs resulting from undetected breakdowns,
  • Makeshift or provisional repairs as well as the consequences of the possible aggravation of the damage resulting from them,
  • The costs of transporting and modifying the equipment in the event of a recall by the manufacturer due to a serial defect,
  • Damage due to corrosion, incorrect connection or power supply problems,
  • Postage and packing costs as well as small supplies.

The above provisions can in no way reduce or eliminate the legal warranty for hidden defects, which is mandatory, and the manufacturer's contractual warranty, if it exists (see warranty form).

The service of the 2-year warranty is ensured by the manufacturers or importers of the products bought at The latter could not be held responsible for any litigation intervening in the treatment of the warranty by these service companies. The warranty only applies to devices purchased on the website and requiring service in metropolitan France, Belgium or Luxembourg. The repair will always be carried out on French territory.

In any case, the customer benefits from the legal warranty of eviction and hidden defects (Art. 1625 and following of the Civil Code). We remind you that many manufacturers require that you keep the original packaging in order to be covered by the warranty.


In accordance with the dispositions of the French Code of Consumption, the customer has, as from the delivery, a period of 14 calendar days to return the ordered product for exchange or refund. In the event of exercise of the right of withdrawal, will be held with the refunding of the sums paid without expenses, port included with the least expensive mode in Metropolitan France. The refund will take place within a maximum of 14 days from receipt of the product and after technical verification by our after-sales service (the returned products are, in all cases, tested).

The product must be returned in its original packaging, undamaged, without any traces of wear and tear, accompanied by any accessories, instructions for use and documentation. Products returned incomplete, damaged or spoiled cannot be taken back. However, the transport costs remain at the customer's expense and the product is transported under his responsibility for the return of the material. In the case of products with filters and consumables, if the product has been used or unpacked, the consumables and filters will not be refunded.

Withdrawal procedure & product return policy

Please request a return number by simply sending an email via our Contact page, selecting "Cancellation request". We will give you the address of the return warehouse.

Please note that the return costs are at the customer's expense. If the products are not sent to the correct address, a reprocessing fee will be charged. In the case of an after-sales procedure, once your product has been approved by the after-sales service, we will return the repaired product free of charge. If a returned product is found not to be defective, you will be charged the return shipping costs.

Retention of title retains the property of the ordered products until the effective and integral payment of their amount, either by the customer, or by the organization of consumer credit which granted him a credit, in accordance with the law 92-1442 of 05/17/1980. However, the responsibility for the products lies with the customer once they have been delivered to him.

Responsibility cannot be held responsible for damages of any kind, material or immaterial, which could result from a bad functioning or from the bad use of the marketed products. The same applies to any modifications to the products resulting from the manufacturers. All information on the products is given as an indication and do not engage the responsibility of The responsibility of will be, in any event, limited to the amount of the order and could not be called into question for simple errors or omissions which could have remained in spite of all the precautions taken in the presentation of the products.

Customer identification

The personal information collected for the purposes of online sales is compulsory, as this information is essential for the processing and delivery of orders, and for the preparation of invoices and warranty contracts. Failure to provide this information will result in the non-validation of the order. In accordance with the law " Data Protection Act", the treatment of personal information relating to the customers of was the subject of a declaration near the National Commission of Data processing and Freedoms (CNIL).
