My air purifier runs at full blast all the time

If you have an air purifier equipped with sensors, you can set it to automatic mode. This way, it will automatically adjust its air flow to the pollution level in real time. Your air purifier will automatically operate at full capacity if the concentration of VOCs and/or particles in the room increases, and the air needs to be purified more quickly. Via the app, you can choose to trigger AUTO mode in the presence of high levels of particles only or particles and gases (tap the information icon “i”). Your purifier will gradually reduce the air flow when the air in the room has been fully purified. Air purifier running at full speed can also be caused by dust buildup on the filter or sensors:

  • Check that you have replaced the filter in the last 6 months.
  • Make sure the AUTO mode settings in the app are appropriate for your filter type (if you are using a particle filter, you must have selected ¬´Particulate¬ª in the app; if you are using a charcoal, AUTO mode must be set to ¬´Particulate¬ª and ¬´Gas¬ª).
  • Check that the air inlet and outlet grilles are not blocked by dust or an object.
  • Vacuum the outside of the air purifier, especially where the sensors are located (you can also use a can of compressed air). The sensors are two sets of circular holes located on the side or bottom of the unit.
  • Open the windows to ventilate the room.
