Why does my hygrometer indicate a different humidity level than that indicated on OSKAR?
This can happen when the 2 devices are placed in different places in the room (e.g. at a height). A tolerance of +/- 5% is normal depending on the type of device. OSKAR will have a better hygrometry measurement when placed in the center of the room because the air circulates more freely towards the sensor. If this is not possible, we advise you to place OSKAR at least 30 cm from the wall. Under no circumstances should it be stuck against the wall, placed in a corner of the room or behind a sofa, piece of furniture or curtains.
