Data sheet
This means that the filter is clogged and that large dust particles in contact with the electric field cause a short circuit. Just like mosquitoes that pass near electric traps, this causes a clicking sound. There is nothing dangerous, but you must go through the "maintenance" phase of your air purifier by cleaning the HPP filter according to the user manual. Also remember to check that the pre-filter and carbon filter are recent.
Logically yes, but we design products that are intended to be economical in terms of energy consumption and the cost of replacement filters. Our goal is for your air purifier to be part of your daily life without being a source of concern. So you can leave it on while you air out the room, this has no significant impact on filter clogging.
Some air purifiers come with a cartridge and a cotton pad designed for this purpose.
Manufacturers indicate a filter life span because it is necessary information during the selection process. However, 2 pieces of information should be taken into account:
In all cases, a light (often red) will tell you when to change the filter.
Prefer air purifiers with combined HEPA + activated carbon filters because activated carbon is effective in filtering bad odors. Examples: LENDOU, ROGER.
The problem does not necessarily come from the device itself, but simply from the dust that has accumulated on the sensor(s).
We recommend that you vacuum the sensor(s) from the outside of the machine. To do this, unplug the air purifier and, from the outside, vacuum at the sensors. You can also use a can of compressed air, as for cleaning computers. The sensors are typically located on the side or bottom of the air purifier and are shaped like a snowflake.
When you are done vacuuming the sensor ports, the PM values should return to normal. In order for the sensor to adjust to this new environment, we recommend waiting approximately 7 days before getting optimized readings. If the PM values do not decrease after vacuuming the sensor, our customer service can perform a sensor calibration to resolve the issue.
Soak the HPP filter in water with a little soap or white vinegar. Once the washing is finished, it is very important to rinse the filter with clean water and let it dry completely. The cleaning instructions are printed on the side of the HPP filter.
The blue LED indicates the operating status of the HPP filter:
First, check that the two small red tabs located on the side of the HPP filter are in place to block the filter. To close the flap, use both hands: with your left hand, hold the front corner of the device. With your right hand, press just below the "push to open" inscription. Repeat the same gesture to open the flap. It is deliberately difficult to open and close because it must be well sealed to guarantee the best possible air purification.
If the HPP filter is too dusty or if it is not completely dry after cleaning, the inside of the device crackles or VIKTOR stops working completely. Only switch on VIKTOR when the HPP filter is completely dry and clean the filter regularly.
This means that VIKTOR has a working HPP filter. Note: There are two different models of VIKTOR. On the first one, the LEDs flash, on the second one, they are on continuously.
No. In the event of a power outage, VIKTOR must be manually switched back on.
Yes. If VIKTOR is turned off and on again, the last saved settings are reused.
An air washer is a 3-in-1 device that can humidify, purify the air and diffuse essential oils. An air purifier only has one main function, that of purifying the air, that is, of ridding it of pollutants.
