Ultra compact

Compact and versatile dehumidifier!

The PROS 13 dehumidifier combines compact design with high performance. This device fits easily into a crawl space, wine cellar, garage, or boat. It is especially effective for reducing high humidity levels, even in cold environments, starting from -20°C (-4°F).

schéma installation PROS 13

Air is drawn in from the front and expelled from the back:

  • Large hole (green): dry air outlet

  • Small hole (purple): humid air outlet

Humid air can be directed outside without affecting the ambient temperature, making it ideal for wine cellars or sensitive storage areas.

How does it work?

A powerful and autonomous dehumidifier

This air dehumidifier operates 24/7, even in very low temperatures. Its robust metal construction, certified IP22, makes it suitable for professional or domestic environments: crawl spaces, cellars, garages, caravans, or boats.

Equipped with an integrated hygrostat, it automatically regulates humidity according to your needs.

  • Operating range: -20°C to 40°C (-4°F to 104°F)

Operates from

-20°C
to
40°C

Compact and practical

Thanks to its desiccant technology, humid air is expelled outside without the need for a water tank. You can control the device remotely via WiFi.

Optionally, a HEPA filter can be added to purify the air while removing excess moisture.

Multi-purpose dehumidifier

Wherever you install it:

  • Floor, wall, or ceiling mount

  • Suitable for cellars, garages, crawl spaces

Dehumidifier for boats

Small, compact, and discreet, it easily fits in boats while ensuring continuous and effective dehumidification.

Compact and tankless, this dehumidifier is also discreet!

Positive pressure dehumidifier installation

This model is designed for professional use and allows targeted drying. Dry air can be directed to areas that require precise moisture removal.

Negative pressure dehumidifier installation

Dehumidifier installation in a negative pressure wine cellar

Ideal for wine cellars, negative pressure installation does not affect the room temperature. The dehumidifier remains fully functional for temperatures between 12°C and 16°C (54°F–61°F).

Why is my appliance not dehumidifying enough?
    • Make sure the unit is not placed against a wall or that a piece of furniture is not blocking the air inlet of the dehumidifier. If so, move it.
    • The desired humidity level is not set low enough: switch to "Continuous" mode instead of "Auto".
    • The room temperature is below 15¬∞C: this is the limit at which most compressor dehumidifiers are ineffective.

Which dehumidifier for a cold room and why?

Below about fifteen degrees, a compressor or Peltier dehumidifier loses much of its efficiency. The reason is simple: to create condensation, the compressor's role is to cool the condenser. If the air is too cold, the drops formed on the condenser will freeze. On older products, you can see blocks of ice forming. Today, there are "Defrost" modes that disconnect the compressor, but the device no longer dehumidifies. It is therefore advisable to opt for a desiccant or low-temperature dehumidifier that works with a large silica wheel. Its efficiency will be almost constant at 0°C or à 20°C.

What length of hose should I use with this type of dehumidifier?

Regarding the discharge of warm, humid air: There are two key points to understand about how these tankless desiccant dehumidifiers work.

    • If the outlet hose is likely to experience a significant temperature difference compared to the outside air, condensation will likely form inside it. You must therefore install a type of elbow that acts as a siphon to prevent water from entering the unit.
    • The hose should be as short as possible to optimize performance. There is only one fan in the unit, which must handle both air intake and exhaust. If you need to extend the hose, make sure to increase its diameter immediately at the unit’s outlet to avoid overworking the fan. It is then advisable to assist the unit with a small mechanical ventilation system or an auxiliary hose motor.

Regarding the ducting for intake and exhaust in the room:  here again, short ducts should be prioritized. The manufacturer recommends not exceeding 4 or 5 meters for both intake and exhaust.

In summary, use the thickest possible ducts to avoid overworking the dehumidifier’s motor. This dehumidifier is not a mechanical ventilation system.

You must increase the distances. Plan to install relief for the dehumidifier, such as small mechanical ventilation units or duct motors.

Can I install my dehumidifier on a boat? Est-ce que je peux installer mon déshumidificateur dans un bateau?

These tankless dehumidifiers are ideal for installation on boats, especially during winter storage, as they operate even at 0°F. The absence of a tank allows moist, warm air to be vented directly outside.

Finally, these units are ultra-compact and allow you to run a duct from one end of the boat to the other, which will facilitate ventilation and air circulation on board.
