OPTIFILTER

Optifilter™: Air Purifier Filter Replacement Optimization System

Replacing an air purifier filter can be a barrier to purchase. Optifilter™ is a patented technology by air&me that optimizes filter replacement by evaluating the filter's degree of contamination and only replacing it when necessary.

The system takes into account several factors: the device's speed, the usage duration, and the ambient air pollution. As a result, the filter clogs more or less quickly depending on these usage conditions.

Optifilter™ informs the consumer when the filter needs to be replaced, ensuring a more cost-effective and eco-friendly management of the air purifier.

For example, a filter used continuously at high speed in a polluted environment will have a shorter lifespan than one used intermittently at low speed in a cleaner environment.

The first air purifier to feature this technology is Lendou. This model uses logarithmic speed regulation to optimize filter degradation. The filter's lifespan thus varies between 6 and 12 months, depending on usage.
