Pre-filter: an additional barrier

If your air purifier filter contains activated carbon, then it is of plant origin. It will produce a slight odor that will fade over time. This odor is not necessarily unpleasant and is completely normal.
The LED on the front panel indicates the air quality:
When the red LED indicator lights up, it indicates that the air quality is poor. This can be caused by smoke, odors, gases from paints, dust, animal hair, pollen, excessive ventilation, sprays, perfumes or air fresheners. √In the immediate vicinity of humidifiers and ultrasonic essential oil diffusers, the red light may come on because the device identifies water droplets as particles.
ROGER Little cleans the air with a Dual Filter system. Specifically, this is a powerful combination of a HEPA 12 filter and an activated carbon filter. On the front of the air purifier, the textile pre-filter frees the air from large dust particles and impurities and thus protects the Dual Filter. In addition, the pre-filter limits the proliferation of microbes. The antimicrobial protection of the pre-filter is guaranteed for at least 20 delicate wash cycles at 30° C.
ROGER Little comes with a HEPA 12 Dual Filter‚Ñ¢. You can replace it with an optional HEPA 14 filter.
With both hands, grasp the grille at the two upper corners and pull it towards you. Then detach the fabric from the grille. To reattach it to the appliance, stretch the pre-filter and hook it onto the various tabs located on the inside of the grille (noting the notches on the fabric). Make sure that the washing label is located at the top and inside.
To wash the pre-filter in the washing machine, you must remove it from its shell. Wash it at 30°C on a delicate cycle. Let the pre-filter dry completely before attaching it back to the appliance. Warning: never put the pre-filter in the dishwasher!
The textile pre-filter frees the air from large particles. Over time, these particles settle on the surface and are more visible on the light gray ROGER Little pre-filter than on the dark gray pre-filter. Wash the textile pre-filter at 30° C on a delicate cycle and the dark marks will disappear.
Although the dust is less visible on the dark grey pre-filter, we also recommend vacuuming it regularly and washing it after a few weeks on a delicate cycle at 30° C.
The pre-filter is a first level of filtration for large particles. It captures animal hair, hair and large dust particles.
