Carbon Monoxide - CO
Carbon monoxide (CO) is an odorless, colorless, flammable, and highly toxic gas formed during the incomplete combustion of organic materials (gas, coal, fuel oil, wood...).
The main source of carbon monoxide is road traffic or malfunctioning household heating appliances.
Each year in France, about a hundred people die from carbon monoxide poisoning. Detectors can help prevent such accidents.
To limit any risks associated with carbon monoxide, we recommend using an air purifier to purify your air.
