WHO - World Health Organization

The World Health Organization (WHO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations for health, established on April 7, 1948. Its main mission is to bring all populations to the highest possible level of health.

WHO informs policymakers and economic leaders about public health risks and raises awareness among populations about certain diseases. Regarding air quality, WHO provides guidance on how to reduce the health effects of air pollution and highlights preventive actions to mitigate air pollution risks worldwide.
