VMC

Mechanical Ventilation (VMC) refers to a system that ensures the renewal of air in a building, thus guaranteeing optimal air quality. There are several types of VMC:

  • Single-flow VMC
  • Double-flow VMC
  • Hygroregulated VMC

A building without an effective VMC or ventilation system can suffer from sick building syndrome, with damage caused by excessive humidity, such as condensation, mold, and microorganism proliferation, negatively affecting the health of the occupants.

In such cases, using air purifiers and dehumidifiers can help compensate for a faulty or missing VMC system, improving indoor air quality.
