Photocatalyst
The photocatalyst is an advanced air purification technology that uses a chemical reaction activated by light to effectively break down pollutants present in indoor air. When exposed to light (natural or artificial), the photocatalyst generates free radicals that attack and decompose volatile organic compounds (VOCs), odors, as well as other air pollutants like bacteria, viruses, and mold.
This technology is particularly useful in spaces where rapid and efficient air purification is necessary, such as offices, hospitals, or homes. The photocatalyst not only purifies the air but also contributes to long-term improvements in indoor air quality, without the need for additional chemicals. It is often integrated into air purifiers and ventilation systems.
