Air Quality Sensor

Air quality sensors are devices designed to measure and assess air quality. They operate based on predefined measurements to determine if there are any exceedances of quality thresholds.

Some air purifiers integrate an air quality sensor, but there are also mobile or fixed models that provide real-time information about indoor and/or outdoor air quality.

Commonly measured elements include:

Less commonly or specifically, these sensors may also measure:

  • PM1.0,
  • VOCs,
  • radon,
  • NO2.
