Absolute Humidity

Absolute humidity refers to the amount of water vapor present in a volume of air, measured in grams per kilogram of dry air. This quantity is limited by the maximum capacity of air to absorb water vapor before reaching saturation, which corresponds to the dew point. At this stage, water transitions from a gaseous state to a liquid state (condensation).

To measure absolute humidity, one can use a hygrometer.
