- Do not place the device where the humidity level of the outside air may be measured, for example, in the immediate vicinity of a window or door,
- Keep the hygrometer away from direct sunlight, as this may cause an incorrect humidity level and damage the screen.
Place your hygrometer in the room where you want to measure the humidity level. Please observe the following guidelines:
All hygrometers have a margin of error of +/- 5%. To compare two displays, the measurement must be carried out under the same conditions (e.g. same temperature) and in the same location.
This means that the humidity level is below 20%, which corresponds to very dry air. In fact, the recommended humidity level is between 40% and 60% in homes and offices.
On the back of the hygrometer, open the circular compartment by inserting a paper clip or coin into the notch and rotating it. Place the battery under the two tabs by pushing it down.
