MEACO is a British company that was founded in 1991 by Chris and Michelle Michael. Initially, their main focus was to specialise in the design and development of air quality monitoring and control equipment for museums and art galleries. In the 2000s, Meaco became the reference supplier of humidity control equipment for museums in Europe.

In 2005, the company's managers decided to focus on the marketing of domestic dehumidifiers, which is steadily increasing in the UK. The brand not only seeks to dehumidify the air in homes, but also to improve the quality of life of their occupants.

Today, MEACO is one of the leading players in the international air dehumidification market, selling its products in more than 20 countries in Europe and South Africa.

Some MEACO products have won various awards, such as the "Which?" award for the Meaco DD8L and Meaco 20L dehumidifiers.

In addition to innovative product development and international expansion, MEACO sponsored kayaker Rachel Cawthorn at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics. The brand is also very committed to young athletes.
