The CLASSIC 205 purifier is equipped with an innovative air filtration technology, called HEPASilent™. It combines electrostatics and mechanics. Thus, the air pressure required for filtration is lower than for a "classic" HEPA filter: the filters used are less dense, but more efficient. For a result without compromise.
A DISCRETION LABELLED QUIET MARK
HEPASilent™ filtration technology allows the CLASSIC 205 to use very little energy and be very quiet - 32 dB at minimum speed. This air purifier has even won an award from the Quiet Mark Association, which tests noise levels of household products! Because its control panel is hidden by a cover, the unit does not light up at night. It is an air purifier that is ideal for bedrooms: you can fall asleep peacefully.

REMOTE CONTROLLABLE PURIFIER
Download the Blueair app to your smartphone so you can program your air purifier remotely. Create operating routines: for example, clean the air in your bedroom before going to bed. This will ensure that you breathe good air. The app also lets you keep an eye on filter wear and tear. Compatible with Alexa, you can use voice command to control it.
By planning routines, you can even reduce your electricity consumption. Run the appliance during off-peak hours, for example.

- For a combined filter with HEPA + activated carbon filtration: as soon as the filter is removed from its plastic packaging, the activated carbon will start to capture VOCs and other odors even if the air purifier is not turned on.
- The use of the air purifier plays a major role in the filter's life span. An air purifier that operates at maximum speed in a very polluted environment will have a shorter lifespan than one used at reduced speed in a cleaner environment.
Logically yes, but we design products that are intended to be economical in terms of energy consumption and the cost of replacement filters. Our goal is for your air purifier to be part of your daily life without being a source of concern. So you can leave it on while you air out the room, this has no significant impact on filter clogging.
Manufacturers indicate a filter life span because it is necessary information during the selection process. However, 2 pieces of information should be taken into account:

These 2 models can purify the air of a room of the same surface area (26m²). However, the 205 model does not integrate sensors, nor the AUTO mode.
Press the orange LED that indicates the filter status for 10 seconds.
Make sure you are connected to the correct Wi-Fi network and that your password is correct. Also, try unplugging and plugging the power cord back into the electrical outlet.
Press the Wi-Fi and filter buttons simultaneously for at least 3 seconds. To reactivate the Wi-Fi function, press only the Wi-Fi button for at least 3 seconds.
